The MG Wing Gundam Zero EW Ver.Ka, featuring the MS from Mobile Suit Gundam W Endless Waltz, was created under the full supervision of Mr. Hajime Katoki and is now available. First released in 2004, quite a few things have been updated in this 2020 Ka version.

The entire model consists of new designs and incorporates unfolding/interactive gimmicks for the white wings and firing poses using the Twin Buster Rifle.

A new gimmick has been adopted where the Twin Buster Rifle can be stored in the wings, and the transformation into Neo Bird Mode has been recreated.

Priced at 6,050 Yen, in this packaging have display base, foil stickers, and water decals are also included.


MG Wing Gundam Zero EW 2004 vs Ver. ka 2020 

1. Joint arms with more articulation points

More axes have been added to the joint arms compared to the 2004 MG edition to recreate both the Atmosphere Entry Mode and Neo Bird Form and the wing binders can be moved in various ways.


2. Shoulder pull-out/chest block Gimmicks

The parts on the 2004 MG edition could be pulled out forward but the Ver.Ka edition has a new sliding chest block. Firing poses where both hands are used can be recreated in natural ways.


3. Forward Bend

The abdomen of the 2004 MG edition had one point of articulation consisting of a ball joint. The Ver.Ka edition has two axes that enable smooth forward-bending movements.


4. Wielding the Twin Buster Rifle with both hands

The blue parts on the forearm can be slid open to reveal holes. The connectors installed in the back of the rifles can be attached to the holes to create stable firing pose displays.

5. A groin joint that enables descending poses

The joints in this Ver.Ka edition enables the legs to be closed together while being crossed where one leg is in front of the other. The iconic descending pose seen in the series can be recreated.


6. Sliding movements in the leg joints and thighs

The sliding parts in the thighs, the knee joints that allow for deep bending, and articulation in the toes give the legs a flowing outline.
