REVIEW MG 1/100 GN-001 Gundam Exia Repair 1-4 Full Led [Metal Build ver.], Hobby Star

MG 1/100 Gundam Exia Repair 1-4 Full Led Metal Build ver from Hobby Star has been in circulation for a long time. However, the Hobby Star bootleg series is really cool to collect for now. Apart from being very different from Bandai, MG Gundam Exia Repair 1-4 Hobby Star is also equipped with an LED.

Light Unit MG Gundam Exia Repair Hobby Star

For the GN-Drive Led on the body, MG Exia Hobby Star uses a separate system from the LEDs throughout the body. This GN-Drive requires a chip Battery. And in some Gundam Exia Hobby Star packaging, it has a defect error on the GN-Drive Led, especially the switch part.

As for the LEDs all over the body using a cable that is very small and of poor quality because it is quite prone to break. This whole body led uses 2 AA batteries that are on the display stand.

The manufacturer is very careful, and the position of the lighting and wiring is made more reasonable, and the performance of the model itself will not be affected by the addition of the lights. Mobility, the appearance of the front is not affected (except for the extra wiring position on the back pp). The design is indeed good, but relatively, the sides of the head and thighs are not designed with light-emitting positions.

Quality MG Gundam Exia Repair Hobby Star

Hobby Star has pretty good plastic quality, with cool coloring. The Quality Control is also quite good, so that almost all parts that are traded do not have defect parts at all.

Head Unit

Head Unit MG 1/100 Gundam Exia Repair 1 Full Led Hobby Star

MG Gundam Exia Hobby Star 1-4 Full Led ver gets 2 types of Head Units, namely 1 normal Exia Head Unit and also Exia Repair I which has a damaged effect like at the beginning of Season 2 Gundam 00 series.

Hand Unit

The Led Unit throughout the MG Gundam Exia Hobby Star body is tucked inside each part of Exia's hand and connects until it comes out on the shoulder.

Body Unit

When building this Body Unit from MG Exia Hobby Star, we also have to install the head and hand parts, because the Led Unit will continue to stick out between the inner frame of this Exia body. This Exia Body also has a round space right in the middle for GN-Drive storage and its Led Unit.

Overall MG 1/100 Gundam Exia Repair 1-4 Full Led from Hobby Star is quite sturdy when assembled. And the kind of plastic that is quite different from other bootlegs, for example daban. MG Gundam Exia Repair Hobby Star belongs to the type of plastic which is a little soft but not as soft as Bandai's. Quite worth to have at a relatively okay price.

The existence of a Led Unit part on his body reminds us of PG Gundam Exia, although it does not include the LED animation but for modelers who can only buy Master Grade, MG Exia Repair Hobby Star is quite recommended from me.
