MS-14B Gelgoog High Mobility Type (高機動型ゲルググ, Kō kidō-gata gerugugu) is a variant of the Gelgoog that first appeared in the Mobile Suit Variations line.

A variation of the Gelgoog, which replaced the Zaku II as the mainstay mobile suit of the Principality of Zeon for the final battle. As ace pilots were prioritized in the assignment of the Gelgoogs and their machines were modified to fit their piloting style, a number of functional-specific Gelgoog variants ended up being created in a short period of time.

The red body color that gave it its name "Crimson Lightning" is faithfully recreated by color molding. Also, High Mobility Type Gelgoog's characteristic B type backpack is modeled with new molding.

The High Mobility Type's symbolic B type backpack is replicated by new molding. Red and black coloring is recreated with color-coding by divided parts. The base of its main thrusters are movable. Rocket Launcher replicated by new molding.
