REVIEW Gundam Universe ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam, Bandai
The following is a review of the Gundam Universe ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam based on the mobile suit in the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series.
GU Freedom Gundam Review
Head Unit
The outline is close to the image of an anime, the eyes are sharp, and the gray on the cheeks is beautifully painted, so it is quite cool. The inner antenna and eyes are painted metallic. The vulcan and ducts were unpainted because they were cheap products.
Body Unit
Gundam Universe ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam is characterized by a rugged figure like a setting picture, which is rare in recent Freedom. The wing is a decent size, but independence was not a problem.
The body balance is common to the series, and the torso is considerably shorter than the Robot Damashii and the metal build Freedom. The Xiphias Railgun can be deployed as it is. It has a rather long shape and is quite powerful.
Arms and Legs Unit
The limbs were also tough, unlike the recent Freedom three-dimensional objects, so it felt fresh. back. The wing is open. There is no special gimmick and it can be deployed just by opening it. Balaena Plasma Convergent Beam Cannon can also be deployed as it is. However, unlike recent three-dimensional objects, it does not support high matte full burst.
Weaponry and Accessories
A state with a beam rifle in this packaging. In addition, it was a universe-like specification that the shield was not attached. The foregrip Beam rifle is fixed and there is no gimmick to mount on the rear armor. The size is slightly larger this time. Unlike this METAL Robot Damashii, which has a sophisticated feel, it features a simple shape like an old toy.
Articulation and Movability
Since the joints are common to the series, the movement is the same as before. There is no problem with the holding power of each part. This time the neck was a little long, so it was easy to move around the neck. The railgun is quite long, so it's quite powerful. Balaena shoot upside down. Freedom's three-dimensional objects are almost the same, but the saber on the waist was easy to come off when touched.
Compared to other freedoms, this is not decided because it is not compatible with high mats and there is no shield. The beam saber comes with a pink-painted blade as usual. I was not good at flashy slashing poses because my hips turned only slightly.
Summary
This is the review of GU Freedom Gundam. Recently, there are many things such as Robot Damashii and metal build aiming for stylish proportions and high details like in the play, but this universe version Freedom contrasts with simple modeling with rugged proportions like setting pictures. On the contrary, it was interesting because it had a fresh taste.
Although it is unsatisfactory that there is no shield or high matte full burst, I am not particularly dissatisfied with it because I can understand it considering the price and size, and there is a decent range of movement, railgun, gimmick of Balaena. The price was enough to enjoy. Robot Damashiis and metal builds are expensive and delicate to make, so you have to be very careful when touching them, but this has the unique merit of being able to play loosely, and the face shaping is usually cool.
