REVIEW Mobile Suit Ensemble EX30 Union Boosted Man Set, Bandai
The following is a review of the MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE EX30 Union Boosted Man Set, a Gundam action figure from Bandai.
MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE EX30 Union Boosted Man Set
Calamity Gundam
The Allied Gundam that appears in the latter half of Gundam SEED is released as a set of three. The deformation is stable as usual, and the characteristic colors are almost as you imagined. The black of the chest duct is unpainted, but the other colors are almost reproduced. The angle of the beam cannon on the back can be adjusted.
Forbidden Gundam
The face looks a little long, but I'm glad that the unique color is reproduced exactly and the backpack is also oversized. It is also possible to remove the head and raise the backpack, and adjust the positions of the left and right railguns and armor to make it a high-speed assault form. The railgun can be opened, and the left and right armor can also be repositioned with the arms, so it is possible to reproduce the beam distortion state in the play.
Raider Gundam
Since the deformation is a replacement, the silhouette does not collapse, and the details are precisely reproduced and it is finished in a good shape.
Option Set & Accessories
A set of pedestals. Includes pedestals for 3 aircraft and auxiliary columns for Forbidden when the Raider is deformed. Mjolnir can reproduce the throwing state by using wire parts. The wire is a plastic rod and there is no movable gimmick. This is completed by changing the head, shoulders and weapons, deploying the claw, and attaching the cannon to the shoulder.
After the transformation, a stable exhibition is possible using a dedicated support. The orientation of the claw can be adjusted freely. It is also possible to put calamity on it using the auxiliary support. The posture is also stable because it is connected to the raider by two columns. 3 machines side by side. The size was the same as the others.
Movability & Articulation
Since the joints are made in the same way as usual, the movement of all three aircraft remains the same.
Calamity Gundam is good that the beam cannon on the back was powerful with a sense of size unique to the limited edition.
The Forbidden Gundam don't have much room, but it can hold the sickle with both hands. Railgun fired in high-speed assault form. Confrontation with Justice. I'd like you to release a duel soon.
Raider Gundam deformed and super high initial velocity shield cannon. Raiders were a little harder to move than others because the claws were easy to interfere with.
Summary
This is the review of MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE EX30 Union Boosted Man Set. The price was quite high because it was limited to Prevan and it was a set of 3 machines, but I personally liked the 3 Gundam of the Union and bought it because the three-dimensional object was also valuable. All three have a limited volume and elaborate gimmick, and the high-speed assault form of Forbidden, which seems to be difficult to reproduce, is well made without discomfort, and the Raider boarding gimmick of Calamity is also reproduced firmly. The content was quite satisfying. The ensemble's SEED series has higher hurdles than the others.
