Converge:CORE Anchor & Phantom V2 Set Review
Anchor
It features an anchor-shaped heat cutter on the forehead, an X-shaped propellant tank, and an orange body color. The design is quite complicated, but as usual, it was a stable model and the painting was a little rough, but it was generally beautiful.
Since it is a specification that can reproduce all forms, it is the top class amount in this series in the past. The saber blade was a clear part and the size was big and it looked good. Anchor V2 outrange mode.
Replace the X-shaped tank with "Ikarimaru" and the legs with one with a built-in caterpillar unit. The weapon is an ax gun. Anchor V2 infight mode. Equipped with Ikarimaru on the back as a weapon. Also replace the heat cutter and mask part of the forehead.
Ikarimaru is a method of disassembling the handle and passing it through the handle. This is equipped with a V3 thruster on the back. The normal state is the state combined with Ikarimaru.
The weapon is Moby Dick Anchor. Parts cannot be disassembled and fixed in this state. With Ikarimaru in hand, the V3 thruster is deployed. The development of the V3 thruster is reproduced using the effect of clear parts.
The size is large and it is painted, so it is quite powerful. The total height including the effect was also outstanding and this form was the best in terms of flashiness.
The final form is equipped with an X-shaped DUST thruster and Ikarimaru on the back, and a rotating shield on both arms, which was only the left arm. From the side. The weapon is also Moby Dick Anchor.
Phantom V2
This is mostly a diversion of the previous phantom. The forehead parts are black and the left arm is equipped with a newly modeled nose rotor.
A state in which the forehead is replaced with one with an effect and a flame saber is held. A heat knife is also included. The nose rotor is replaced with a mystic shield and equipped with a peacock. Includes a heat-dissipating mask, phantom light effect parts, and a deployed mystic shield.
The effects were diverted from the previously released Ghost Gundam. From the side. Auxiliary pedestal is also included as before. The deployed Mystic Shield can also be attached to the anchor.
The modeling is almost the same as here. The green color was a little darker. Anchors and phantoms are lined up in their final form. By the way, this time the package was also an elaborate one with an original illustration. A one-page bonus manga is also included.
Summary
This is the review of FW GUNDAM CONVERGE: CORE Anchor & Phantom V2 set. Most of the CORE series is a little less stimulating with added color variations and markings, but this time the anchor is completely new and the convergence is the fastest three-dimensional, which is a rare attack.
The main anchor has a complicated design that is deformed without discomfort, the painting is beautiful, and the elaborate specifications that all forms can be reproduced with a large number of options, the phantom V2 that is a set is also a luxury that can reproduce the phantom light in addition to the new equipment So, personally, I'm glad that the content was highly satisfying for the first time in the CORE series, without feeling overpriced.
