REVIEW Metal Build ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam, Bandai
The following is a review of Metal Build ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam, a action figure Robot Damashiii Tamashii Nation released by Bandai Spirit based on the original model of the MS Unit Justice Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
Metal Build ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam Review
Head Unit
Like Freedom, the model is similar to the image of an anime, and there are no noticeable arrangements. The eyes are painted metallic, and the gray cheeks and vulcans are also painted accurately. The antenna was also very sharp.
Body Unit
Proportion, form, marking, etc. are made to match Freedom CONCEPT 2. The lifter is quite large, but the body is heavy, so there was no problem with independence.
The body shape balance is similar to Freedom, and MB-like details such as molds have been applied. Beam saber is attached by opening the cover of the side armor.
Arms and Legs Unit
Like Freedom, the shoulders are slightly larger and the limbs are long and slender. The feature is that gold is used as an accent in some places. Marking on the left shoulder. This is also a design tailored to Freedom. The leg thrusters are deployable.
Option set and Weaponry
A set of stands included in packaging. Then high matte mode. First, deploy the left and right wings. The lifter Fatum-00 is in this state when removed. Fold the parts of the main body connection part and attach a dedicated joint.
Attach the joint to the hole in the back for high matte mode. I raised it as it is in the Robot Damashii etc., but this time it requires a lot of trouble.
In this state, it is difficult to stand on its own, so a stand is required. It was possible if I leaned forward considerably. When installing the lifter, you are instructed to remove the antenna and comb once, but it is easier to remove the head itself.
When high matte, pull out the base of the front beam cannon. The beam cannon can move up and down as usual. Small turrets and small wings are movable. This time, there was no gimmick that jumped up the left and right blocks like the METAL Robot Damashii. Thrusters and covers can be moved individually.
Next, the display of the lifter alone. Here, a joint different from that at the time of high mat is attached. Attach the joint for the stand and connect it to the support.
The display as a single unit can be either a mini strut or a normal strut. Please note that the joint differs depending on the support. The strut connection joint can be angled in three ways, and it was possible to display it diagonally.
When boarding, pull out the front, back, left and right to deploy. When the left and right are pulled out, the front and back also expand in conjunction. Attached to the support using the joint when displaying as a single unit.
The main body is on top as it is. When boarding the lifter, a joint is attached to the sole of the main body so it can be firmly fixed. There is also a special joint that can be inserted into the sub-strut and the hole in the back of the waist of the main body, so the fixing was fairly solid. The foregrip is movable with different colors of Freedom. It can also be mounted on the back of the waist.
Shield is also a different color of Freedom. The connection was the same, and it was a two-point method of grip and joint. The beam boomerang and bassel on the shoulder can be deployed as they are and can be grasped. A dedicated beam blade is also included. The proportions and sizes were aligned here.
Movability and Articulation
Since there is a lifter, the neck, shoulders, arms, etc. will interfere to some extent, but the joint structure is the same as Freedom. The hardness of the joints was not too hard and there were no loose parts, which was just right.
The waist can rotate firmly. The neck was also flexible despite the lifter due to the movement of the base. Remove the passel and hold it. Both hands are familiar from illustrations.
Since the connection with the main body is solid, it is stable even at such a steep angle. However, the angle may have been loose. Since it takes up too much space, I changed it to a large background and combined it with Freedom.
Summary
This is the review of METAL BUILD Justice Gundam. Although the arrangement peculiar to the metal build is included, it seems that the original has been slightly improved in detail, the color is almost the same as the animation, so it looks like no habit, the modeling is the highest level as usual and the painting is also very good looking. It was finished well.
As for the movement, the making of Freedom CONCEPT 2 is followed, so everything is good, and the big feature Fatum-00 is also solid in gimmicks such as deployment and fixing at the time of boarding, so it was perfect in terms of play.
