This is a review of the METAL BUILD RX-93-ν2 Hi-ν Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam: Beltorchika's Children, an action figure die-cast MB Gunpla Bandai x Tamashii Nation.

METAL BUILD RX-93-ν2 Hi-Nu Gundam Review

Metal Build's unique arrangement is included, and the body is slightly thinner than the setting picture. In the sample, even if the fin funnel was bent backwards, it could stand on its own, but the real thing was impossible unless it was widened this much. The usual stand doesn't support normal standing poses, so I wanted you to attach a short strut.

Head Unit

In the setting image, the chin and cheek pads are long and have a unique outline, but this time the arrangement is less quirky. However, it was unique that the forehead was quite large. The eyes are painted metallic as usual, and details such as ducts are carefully painted. It's not noticeable to the naked eye, but the particles of the paint were a little larger this time.

Body Unit

There are many parts of the body that have been arranged, and in addition to the body shape, the gray duct in the setting image has been changed to yellow. In the setting picture, the fairly long front armor was also standard size.

Arms and Legs Unit

In the setting picture, it was quite thick from the knee down, but this time it is normal thickness. Extremities are very precise with details applied to every corner. There is a machine gun on the right arm and a saber rack on the left arm, both of which can be deployed as they are.

The stabilizer can be moved up and down. It was also possible to close the tip. The base of the fin funnel container can move up, down, left and right. The funnel connection can also be moved back and forth and left and right to adjust the spacing. The propellant tank can move joints and move back and forth, and it can also move slightly left and right. It is also possible to separate the propellant tank in the center.

The beam saber is stored at the top. It is also possible to reproduce the sword drawing scene by pulling it out. It should be noted that installing the fin funnel is quite frustrating until you get the hang of it, so be prepared. It is possible to bend the container when it is removed. The shoulder armor, chest, front armor, arms, and leg armor can be deployed, and the internal mechanism can be exposed.

In addition, there are holes when the chest and front armor are unfolded, so it was likely that HWS would be released later. The calves of the legs can be expanded horizontally and downward, the shin armor can be opened, and the toes and heels can be slightly slid. The movement around the neck is a little unsatisfactory because it easily interferes with the collar, but the waist can swing widely.

You can also raise your shoulders. The elbows and knees are deeply bent and the hip joints are widely movable back and forth. It was also very grounded. The elbow joint also rotates, so it was very flexible.

Weaponry and Option set

A set of pedestals. Fully equipped and at an angle close to the setting image. back. If the fin funnel is bent backwards like this, it won't stand on its own, so the picture shows it supported by the pedestal support. beam rifle. The sling belt depicted in the frontispiece of the novel has been reproduced for a unique look. By using replacement parts, you can reproduce the state without a belt.

You can pull out the pin and mount it on the back of your waist. New hyper bazooka movable grip, this can be mounted directly in the hole of the stabilizer. It was also possible to fold the barrel. Ink spot camouflage on shield is applied to the surface to make it look like Calpis Grape.

Movability and Articulation

Joints can be stretched and bent as usual. The beam cannon at the tip can be expanded and contracted. The state where the fin funnel is removed from the container and stretched. There was only a metal build, and the details around here were also solid. It can be bent as it is. It is also possible to display 6 units in a floating state using fin funnel injection joints and struts. Each base can move forward and backward. Also, the fin funnel connection was a ball joint.

The texture is matte, so it is close to the 00 series. Compared to this one, which is faithful to the setting image, the figure is quite slender. a reasonable number As mentioned above, the movement is good everywhere, the shoulders can be pulled out, and the rifle can be held with both hands.

The impression that the front armor approaches the image of the setting image when extended. Since the collar interferes, it is not possible to face directly to the side. I could forcibly put the cheek armor out of the collar, but it seemed dangerous to peel off the paint.

The beam cannon at the tip of the shield can be expanded and contracted. The bazooka was easy to hold because the grip can be pulled out like ROBOT SPIRITS. Impression that it looks a little small because the main body is quite rugged. Beam sabers had blades extending from the front and back, as well as ones with only one side.

The waist can also rotate firmly, but when I noticed it, the purple paint on the front armor was peeling off, so it seems better to be careful when rotating. Fin funnel injection. It is firmly fixed, but the weight of the fin funnel is quite heavy, so it felt like it was hanging down a little (two supporting posts are included).

Summary

This is the review of the METAL BUILD RX-93-ν2 Hi-ν Gundam. The proportions and head modeling are arranged differently from the set art, and the camouflage of the shield is unique. It was very precise, and the coloring was just as I imagined, and it was very cool. I was a little disappointed in the part about independence, but as usual, the drawer joints are well used for the articulation, and it moves well without losing its appearance.
