REVIEW Gundam Universe GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser, Bandai

This is review of action figure Gunpla Gundam Universe GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser based on Model 00 Raiser from Mobile Suit Gundam 00 series.

Gundam Universe 00 Raiser Review

G-Universe 00 Raiser has a proportion that doesn't have a lot of peculiarities. It doesn't stand out too much in the arrangements.

Head Unit

The outline is slightly thinner and the eyes are bigger. It facial features were pretty cool. The gray on the cheeks is also painted exactly without omitting it. The red on the forehead and green on the side of the head are all painted without use of clear parts.

Body Unit

There is no conspicuous arrangement of the body and it is faithful to the original. As usual, the texture was rubbery because the molding color was the center.

Arms and Legs

All the lens parts are metallic paint around here as well. Gundam Universe is generally so, but the legs were quite thick. The base of the GN drive unit rotates, and it can also move behind. It was also opened on the side.

Weaponry and Accessories set

GN Sword 3 is not included. There is no conspicuous arrangement here either, and the modeling is faithful to the setting. Side wings can be opened. There was no stand joint and there was a direct hole.

Equipped with GN Sword II by combining into a double O riser. The combination gimmick was the same as all other double O risers. Perhaps because of the specifications common to the series, the right hand has a shape with the index finger open for rifle use, so the grip is loose. Transformation to rifle mode is also possible. Also, due to individual differences or the shape of the shaft of the right hand, it didn't fit all the way. It is also possible to mount it on the waist as it is.

Almost the same shade of blue. Like a universe, the head is a large proportion. Gundam Universe Exia had a weird head and plump legs, but it felt normal on this 00 Gundam unit.

Movability and Articulation

The joints are common to the series, so the articulation is the same as usual. The neck can be turned well, but the waist is limited to about 20 degrees as usual. I could only bend my knees about 100 degrees, and compared to the recent ROBOT spirits, felt stressed as usual. The binder had a high degree of freedom such as orientation and angle. There is no connecting gimmick for GN Sword 2. It is regrettable that there was no GN sword 3 of the main weapon.

Summary

This is the review of GUNDAM UNIVERSE Double O Raiser. Gundam Universe Exia had a rather unique body shape, but this time the 00 Raiser has less peculiar proportions, and the face has a little big eyes and no noticeable features. As for the articulation, the waist can only turn a little and the knees can't bend much, so it's still good because it's a series specification, but this time it's a little stressful in terms of play, such as individual differences or the right hand not fitting properly. So I was very dissatisfied with that.
