Realistic Model Series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED (for 1/144 HG series) G-Structure [GS05] Archangel Hangar Review
The unstoppable "RMS" series Archangel facility. This time, a hangar where you can display mainly the replacement situation of the striker pack. First, let's take a look at the overall view of the product. It is a display base that looks like the Archangel hangar part of the main anime is cut out as it is. The size is about 240 mm in length, about 295 mm in width, and about 260 mm in depth.
Detail View
One of the features of this item is that it comes with many arms for displaying each 1/144 size striker pack such as HG and RG. This is where all the attached arms are arranged. It can be attached and detached freely, and the design of the main anime is firmly traced.
If you look up at the hangar from below, you can feel the presence of the walls. Also pay attention to the pre-applied solid paint, which is also a feature of the RMS series. *This item is a pre-painted semi-finished kit. The details are carved on the sides as well. Archangel's hangar is a block-type unit.
Pay attention to is the many protrusions on the rear wall. You can mount arm parts that are not in use as shown in the picture. The hangar can be disassembled into 5 blocks as shown in the photo. You can save space when storing. By the way, water transfer type mini decals are included for marking each part.
Gimmick
Let's take a look at the gimmick side of this item from here. This is a hanger installed on the top of the hangar. As shown in the photo, this is the part where you can suspend the Aile Striker or the Sword & Launcher Pack backpack.
This hanger can be slid up and down together with the main body. It can be raised and lowered according to the situation. There are two types of arms that directly hang the Aile Striker, one for HG and one for RG. The shape of the connection hole is different.
This is the arm for the shield. The part that holds the shield from the left and right slides up and down. Arm for beam rifle. It holds the beam rifle firmly.
The display is complete when you place the Strike Gundam on the catapult shuttle. This is spectacular. The catapult shuttle on the bottom can be slid forward. You can also display the launch scene as shown in the photo.
Seen from up close, it's even more realistic. In addition, this item comes with arms that are compatible with RG's Sword & Launcher Striker. You can also reproduce the scene of converting to a pack other than Aile Striker. The photo shows the launcher striker on display. This is where the sword striker is placed. Dedicated arms hold each part firmly.
Free to combine with anything other than Strike. The shape of the arms is supposed to be a striker pack, but with such a ridiculously cool display base, it's a saga of people who want to combine it with various items. So, let's start with the classic Freedom Gundam. Sky Grasper is placed to create an image of a Striker Pack conversion scene. This is where I placed the SD BB Senshi Strike Gundam.
The arm holds the equipment better than expected. Of course, you are free to combine it with other aircraft than SEED. Old man's bad habit is to put down the old kit and want to "Zeon's amazing mechanism" as soon as he sees it as a hangar. If you place more MS in the back, it will make it look like an old-fashioned Gundam commercial.
This is a very versatile item, so let's enjoy various displays. It's unique to toys that you can combine it with things other than Gunpla. I combined the photo with 30 MINUTES MISSIONS.
Finally, one small display idea. The photo is a button battery type LED mini stand light purchased at a 100 yen shop. If you place this in an empty space, it will be a simple light-up display. You can enjoy an atmosphere that is a little different from the usual display.
Summary
This concludes the review of "Realistic Model Series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED (for HG 1/144 series) G Structure [GS05] Archangel Hangar". After all, playing on the base is a man's romance. So, starting with Strike Gundam, it's a really fun product that you can easily combine with various items. Of course, it might be fun to take a picture with it as a background, so please come up with various ideas and play around with it.
