Mobile Suit Ensemble EX40 Dendrobium Review

RX-78GP03S Gundam "Stamen"

This is the same model as the MS Ensemble 22 Gundam Prototype Unit 3, but the molding color has been changed and the marking has been added to the left shoulder. The white color is darker than the MS Ensemble 22 Gundam Prototype Unit 3, and it looks better.

The metallic paint on the eyes has also been slightly brightened.

Orchis Unit

This alone costs more than 10,000 yen, so it's quite a volume. It's big, but the details are precise. Although it is a molding color, the texture is also good because the gloss is adjusted. Accurate marking positions. Assembly was quite troublesome. The angle of the connection can be finely adjusted. The left and right parts of the pedestal can be expanded and a missile container can be installed.

Option and Accessories

The transparent clear part on the lower right is a special jig used when taking out containers etc. When boarding, a special neck part was attached to make it look upward. It was shrunk down quite a bit in Converge, but here it feels like it's deformed with the same size as the image.

Since it is deformed, the mega beam cannon is also a little short. The main body of the Stamen is fixed by inserting a pin into the stand hole in the crotch, so it did not come off unexpectedly. There is also a pedestal that supports the left and right weapon containers, but it was possible to display it without using it.

The neck is quite long due to the neck part for boarding, but it didn't feel uncomfortable when viewed as a whole. The mega beam cannon is about 17 cm. The joint of the gun barrel is molded, but it may be a little annoying depending on the person. By replacing the base parts, it is possible to let the Stamen hold the grip.

The state where the claw arm is deployed and the large beam saber is held. The saber blade is a pink clear part. The base of the claw arm is expandable and movable in two places.

The hatch of the weapon container can be opened and closed, and the internal micro missile container and large focused missile can be pulled out. To take out, remove the rear part and push it out with a special jig.

Large Focused Missile and Micro Missile Container can be attached to the pedestal using a dedicated mini strut. You can also adjust the direction and angle. A folding arm that can be used to replace the Stamen's arm is also included. This one has three arms and claws that move and can grab weapons in the container. Parts for reproducing Cima shooting down scene. Attach this to the tip of the mega beam cannon and connect it to the hole where the abdomen part of the MS Ensemble 22 gerbera tetra was removed.

Since it can be fixed exactly, it was possible to display it as it is. It is also possible to make your own form by recombination of parts. This is the Stamen & Weapon System, which is a compact version of Orchis.

In this state, the weapon container uses only the outer parts. The holes and pins of each block are the same size, so it seems that they can be rearranged in various other ways. It is possible to reproduce the state where the right container in the play is gone.

In addition, the size this time was about 14.5 cm in height (including the pedestal), 17.5 cm in width, and 26 cm in depth. a reasonable number mega beam cannon. It is possible to hold the grip by replacing it. Equipped with a large beam saber that expands the claw arm.

The claw arm can be swung left and right, and the degree of freedom was high. Weapon container hatch deployment. Install a missile container etc. on the pedestal. The length of the replacement neck part may stand out a little when viewed from below. It is impossible to do somersaults, but it is possible to add a considerable angle with the pedestal.

This reproduction was so elaborate that I wanted to exhibit it in this state. Although it is the original form, there was no sense of incongruity here either. Neue Ziel was also released at the same time, but it was too expensive to buy two, so I skipped this time.

Summary

This is the review of candy toys action figure Gunpla Mobile Suit Gundam Mobile Suit Ensemble EX40 Dendrobium. Most P-Bandai limited candy toys are relatively expensive, but this time it was priced at 14,300 yen. So the texture was good and it was finished in a considerable coolness. Although the large number of parts to assemble was troublesome, the gimmicks are solid, and the weapon container hatch can be opened and closed, parts for recreating the Cima shootdown scene, and the original recombination form. It was expensive. However, although the product itself is good, it was a bit subtle for me personally when considering whether it was worth the price in terms of volume.
