Metal Build GAT-X105E+AQME-X09S Strike Noir Gundam [ Alternative Strike Ver. ] Review
Although this metal build Strike Noir Gundam is based on Strike Gundam, most of it is new modeling. The overall look is sharp and the colors are completely different, so the impression changes greatly. The arrangement was not so much, and it looked like each part was detailed.
Head Unit
The head is completely new and does not look like a normal Strike Gundam, and has a sharp look like an enemy mecha. Metallic paint as usual. The fine parts of the cheeks were also accurately painted and finished nicely.
Body Unit
The fuselage is similar to the Strike Gundam, but the design around the cockpit is different, so it's new. Features precise modeling and markings. The waist armor is also sharper than the normal Strike Gundam. The texture is solid matte with black and gray.
Arms and Legs Unit
The shoulders are large and pointed. Some of the arms and legs look the same as normal, but the forearms and shins were clearly different. The shoulder markings are asymmetrical. The parts with sharp edges can be removed and the frame can be raised like normal.
The calf vernier can be pulled out. Noir Striker's arm can be flexibly moved with click joints. It was also possible to deploy the wings. It is also possible to raise the wing and switch to wing mode. It is also possible to deploy the linear gun. It was also possible to deploy the barrel in two places.
Weaponry and Option Set
Metal Build Strike Noir Gundam come with a set of pedestals. The grenade launcher at the bottom of Riffle is removable. It can also be mounted on side armor. 57mm high energy beam rifle. This is the same as the one in Normal Strike. Can be mounted on the back of the waist by raising the pin.
A stock that can be attached by replacing the rear part is also included. It is also possible to remove the magazine. It can also be mounted on side armor. A magazine holder and saber holder that can be attached to the rear armor are also included. It is also possible to have a beam blade removed from the wing.
A beam blade is also included. Anchor launchers can be attached to special palms, soles, and backpacks. The cable can be moved with lead wires. Pack compatibility as usual. This is Aile Striker. Since the shoulder structure is the same as normal, it was possible to attach a sword striker and a launcher striker. It was almost a separate model, but some parts such as the abdomen and thighs were the same.
Movability and Articulation
The joint structure is almost the same as normal Strike Gundam. It's a bit disappointing that the thigh roll has a little peculiarity like that one and it's difficult to make it inward. The joint strength of both the main body and Noir Striker is perfect, especially the wing base is stable because it is a click joint.
The handle is the same as the rifle, but this grip is thicker and the fingers spread, so I wanted a special handle. Because the size is large, the power is perfect. An angled handle is also included. It's hard to do with a metal build, but it's a somersault anchor. You can also reproduce the movement of crossing your arms and shooting.
Summary
Even though it's a side story, it's the main character of the anime, so, it was an event-limited item, but the modeling is as good as the Metal Build Strike Gundam, and the Strike Noir-like sharpness is reproduced, and the matte black texture and precise markings also look good, and it was finished very cool. As for the articulation, it was little dissatisfied with the thigh roll, just like the Strike Gundam, but everything else was good.
