Mobile Suit Gundam Mobile Suit Ensemble 23 Review
MS Ensemble Gundam Aerial
A fairly early lineup from the on-air Witch from Mercury. The curved form was beautifully reproduced and it was finished in a cool way.
MS Ensemble Gundam Barbatos
This is also the main character machine. It's a pity that the characters on the mask were a little off, but the details and colors are reproduced with precision.
MS Ensemble Rick Diaz [ Red ]
This time, Rick Diaz is included from Mobile Suit Gundam Z's MS, which has often included one recently. The legs are quite thick and have a heavy feel as you can imagine. It is possible to remove the beam pistol on the back and hold it in your hand.
MS Ensemble Graze
We also have enemy MS to match Barbatos. I'm worried that the color of the top part is a little different, but the modeling is safe. You can choose the position of the booster on your back, and you can choose between terrestrial use and space use. When the top cover was removed, the internal mechanism was also reproduced exactly.
MS Ensemble 23 Weapon Set
This set includes an aerial bit, Barbatos' mace, Rick Diaz's bazooka, Graze's battle ax, and a head cover for the commander plane. Gundam Aerial Shield is a part that can be said to be the centerpiece of the weapon set, and it was quite large and the colors were finely reproduced.
Equipped with each bit attached to a dedicated joint. Gundam Aerial Bit on Form is a state where bits separated from the shield are attached to each part of the body. Equipped with a long barrel rifle is the state where the gray parts are removed from the bit that was equipped on the back of the waist and attached to the rifle.
Mace for Barbatos was also made quite large and had a powerful appearance. It can also be mounted on a backpack. Clay Bazooka for Rick Diaz as the main weapon is often included in the weapon set, so the impression is that it is essential. The battle ax for Graze and the head for the commander aircraft are also included in the weapon set.
Movability and Articulations
Bit equipment is standard for aerials, so it felt like a weapon set was essential. The aerial saber can be removed from the back, but there is no hole for the beam blade. shield defense looks powerful because it is quite large. This bit was a little easy to come off. Each bit always has either a 3mm hole or a pin, so it was possible to easily float it by using a common pedestal part.
Although it is quite last minute, the sword can be held with both hands. Weapon set equipped with mace. This is also made quite large, so it is powerful. Rick Diaz Bazooka equipment in the weapon set. This is also an impression that a weapon set is essential because the beam pistol alone is not enough. Put it on the 22 bullet Dodai. Graze use the weapon set ax and commander machine head. Barbatos was a normal bullet this time, but Lupus Rex and others will be put out with EX with effects.
Summary
This time, in addition to Aerial, the main character of the Witch of Mercury, which is currently being broadcast, Barbatos, the main character of the previous TV series, Iron-Blooded Orphans, is also included, making for a very luxurious lineup. As usual, there are some rough spots, but it's generally stable, especially the aerials, which are the centerpiece, have a very high play value using the weapon set bits, and the other MS are also well-made in terms of both appearance and play.
