REVIEW Gundam Artifact Phase 3, Bandai

"GUNDAM ARTIFACT" is a fixed-pose assembly food toy kit series. It is a fixed pose model that makes the most of the 55mm size by creating the details of an industrial product with a spectacular density, and its ultra-precise finish is a selling point. The 3rd series to be introduced this time is an attractive item that inherits the high degree of perfection from the 2nd series, but also presents new challenges.

Gunpla Bandai Shokugan Gundam Artifact Phase 3 Review

Above all, the highlight is the characteristics of the mobile suit reproduced in 55mm size. For example, the head of the Gouf flight type is two parts.

In the state of the runner, it looks like a picture. The blade antenna, which is about 5mm in size, has a very sharp shape (be careful not to damage it when assembling!). In addition, the power pipe has a shape that allows you to check the knots firmly, and the more you look at it, the more surprises you will see. It is a kit that I would like you to look at each part in the state of the runner before assembly when you purchase it.

The MS lineup this time is a total of 5 units: 00 Raiser, Zeta Gundam, Qubeley, Gouf Flight Type, and Stark Jegan. The 00 Raiser, which combines with the support unit and has an outstanding volume, the Zeta Gundam and Qubeley, which are standard aircraft with many fans, and the Gouf Flight Type and Stark Jegan, who are supporting players with strong personalities, are a lineup that does not lose. Now let's review each item.

011: Gouf flight type

It is a variation of the flight-capable Gouf that was active at the end of "Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team". The ferocious figure equipped with a huge Gatling shield on the left arm is still alive in "Gundam Artifact". The legs are interpreted as a huge jet engine itself, giving the impression of an independent humanoid aircraft with ankle-shaped landing gear. It is a kit that you can enjoy one of the most precise divisions of this bullet.

The glaring mono-eye shield on the head and the unique line of the power pipe are truly Gouf flight type.

A gatling shield composed of parts approaching double digits. Each part, such as the magazine that extends from the magazine and the triple 35mm Gatling gun placed behind the shield, is a highlight of this item.

The bottom of the leg is a huge fan, and the landing gear is arranged around it like a cover, making it look like an ankle. The two pairs of left and right intakes are also made into separate parts, so you can clearly see the shape of the fan. Combined with the many wings on the back, it looks like it's going to fly.

012:Zeta Gundam

The Zeta Gundam, the main character in the second half of "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam", appears with the Hyper Mega Launcher on its right arm and the wings of its flying armor deployed. It has been three-dimensionalized without compromising its powerful yet smart impression. The fine expression seen in weapons and armor is the true value of the series. Although there are many units, it is very easy to assemble and is recommended for beginners.

The antenna has a shape without reinforcement, which was adopted after the second bullet. The facial features are unquestionably cool. The flying armor has a unique shape that creates a space when deployed. The long tail stabilizer in the center of the back has cylinder-like details.

Hyper Mega Launcher grabs and holds the grip provided in the middle of the center of gravity. Arrangement unique to this work shines, such as adding landing gear and incorporating details like a heat sink on the barrel.

013: Qubeley

It is the MS that symbolizes Axis as Haman Khan's machine that appeared in "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam". The graceful silhouette composed of beautiful curved surfaces is one and only, and the details are included in the arrangement of the artifacts so as not to impair their charm. The kit is focused on frame expression, and this is also an item that I would like you to build!

Draw a smooth curve, and the head that is long back and forth is just like the image. A frame like a laminated structure is visible at the neck.

Let's take a look at the cut with the lower arm armor removed. The arm frame is also divided into pipes, etc., and the shape will come to mind as you assemble it. In addition to the details inside the shoulder armor, the beam saber and beam ax-like weapons are mounted, making it an outstanding sight to see!

The shoulder armor has a slit on the side as set and is arranged at an angle that does not stick closely, and when viewed from a bird's eye view, it has a feather-like silhouette. You can enjoy the contrast between the complex interior and the simple exterior.

014: Stark Jegan

An enhanced version of the Jegan that was active in "Mobile Suit Gundam UC". With triple missile pods on both shoulders, additional waist armor, thrusters that double as propellant tanks on the back, and additional armor for each part, this is a popular aircraft with many highlights. He holds a hyper bazooka that fits perfectly under his arm, and has a dignified standing pose. Arrangements are also effective, such as a self-assisting stay attached to the heel.

The head is placed as if buried in additional armor and missile pods. It captures Jegan's slightly charming expression. The vulcan pod on the side of the head is a separate part, and the antenna is also sharp.

A shot from the side with the arms removed. A large backpack catches your eye. It's as if you can see a scene that works intricately with many cylinders and huge nozzles. The missile pod has tile-like details, greatly increasing the sense of density. The rear end is a cover for loading, and the complicated details are added and it is worth seeing.

015: 00 Raiser

From "MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM 00", this is the 00 Raiser driven by Setsuna F. Seiei and Saji Crossroad, the main characters of the second season. A voluminous aircraft completed by combining 00 Gundam and O Raiser is beautifully arranged. A huge left and right unit shines in a simple body. It is armed with a GN Sword III.

Not only the antenna on the head, but also the gravical antenna on the chest are well-sculpted. The slightly strong face mask also captures the impression wonderfully.

The O-raiser has been arranged into a design in which the left and right main wings are connected by an arm. In addition, you can choose to add a landing leg wind frame for autonomy assistance to the nose part. You can also see the sharpness of the tip of the nose.

Furthermore, although transformation is impossible, it is not a recommended way to play, but it has a parts configuration that can be separated firmly! Each part of O Raiser has a convincing shape that looks like it's going to transform.

Decorate in a separate state to reproduce the docking sensor just before uniting. It seems interesting to try to concentrate on the display. The rare color this time is a vivid fluorescent pink.

Summary

There are many colorings that match the image, such as the Zeta Gundam's biosensor activation, the scene where the effect is launched from the Qubeley, and the 00 riser's Trans Am color, so it can be said that it is a convincing choice. There is a different fashionableness from the clear color. When exposed to black light, it emits light, making it look like GN particles are shining! If you have a black light, please try it.

It was "Gundam Artifact Phase 3". As you can see from the release pace of almost once a year, this series should be called a small epic, with considerable effort put into each release.
