Mission Packs

Mission Packs were built by the Earth Federation's Strategic Naval Research Institute (SNRI), the prototype F90 Gundam F90 was equipped with a set of hardpoints for mounting mission specific equipment such as extra thrusters, weaponry or recon devices. A later revamp of the design called the F90II Gundam F90II had two extra packs designed specifically for it. In addition, it was possible to create new configurations by mixing and matching components of the different mission packs (like the "Type A.D.S." which combined the Assault, Destroid and Support Types equipments). The concept of complex Mission Packs seem to have been abandoned after F90's development with only Full Equipment Type G-Cannon and RGM-109 Heavygun Full Equipment Type from F91-MSV shown with equally complex equipments.

P-Bandai Gunpla MG 1/100 Mission Pack Type P for Gundam F90

The P (plunge) type of atmosphere entry specification has appeared in the master grade with completely new modeling. It is possible to transform into an atmospheric entry form (waverider form). With the name "PLUNGE", the pack equipped with nose parts, shoulder armament, wing shield, buttocks tank unit, and leg booster unit is reproduced with new modeling. In addition, water transfer decals including original markings are included.

Reproduce the deployment mechanism of the north cowl unit (nose part) equipped on the back. A rotating shaft is mounted on the sensor of the Vulcan cannon unit that can be attached to the right shoulder. The beam cannon turret that can be attached to the left shoulder can move up and down. The wing shield attached to the arm hard point has a rotating shaft on the base and can be moved flexibly. The wing parts stored in the shield can be deployed. 

The coloring of the wing parts is reproduced with the molding color. In addition, the lower tank unit can be selectively replaced with stabilizer parts. The verniers of the booster units on the legs can move independently with ball joints. The cable connected to the buttock tank unit is reproduced with lead wires and varnished tubes. The coloring of the wing parts on the side is reproduced with the molding color.

By attaching special parts to the shoulder and back, you can recreate the original form of the "BB Senshi 96 Gundam F90 P/V-TYPE (general over-the-counter item)", "PV Special"! Some of the V type equipment of the "MG 1/100 Gundam F90 Mission Pack R Type & V Type (sold separately)" can be additionally installed.
