The head, torso, shoulders, etc. are slightly different from the original Nu Gundam, as it is equipped with MSV's double fin funnel.

Head

The head design is close to the original Nu Gundam, but there are some subtle differences such as two slits. The eyes are painted metallic as usual, and the ducts and vulcans are painted accurately. The yellow color was a little brighter.

The shape of the body is slightly different from the original, such as the large white part of the collar. The paint has a matte and calm texture. The shape is unique, such as the center of the waist is flat.

Arms and Legs

The shoulder armor also has a unique shape. The limbs are almost the same as the original, but the knees were slightly arranged. The shoulder markings are asymmetrical. The arms are asymmetrical like the original, and the left arm is equipped with a saber rack. The rack can be deployed as it is, but it is very hard to attach and detach the saber, so be careful.

The neck is reasonably movable, but the swing width of the waist is a little. The shoulders can be raised above the horizontal and the elbows and knees can be deeply bent. The hip joint is a pull-out type that can be moved widely in the front and back and has good grounding. The shoulders can be pulled out nearly 90 degrees. Since the release date is close, I thought it would be the same joint as the mass-produced model, but it was different.

Weaponry and Option sets

This come with a set of pedestals. It is a double fin funnel equipped type, but the installation method is special and the silhouette is asymmetrical. Beam rifle design of some of the armaments is different from the original, and the shape of the rifle has changed considerably. New hyper bazooka looks almost identical to the original.

Like the original, the barrel can be shortened and mounted on a backpack. The rifle can also be mounted on the back of the waist. Shield shape is more complicated than the original, but the color is simple because there is no red Amuro mark. Attach the joint to the saber rack for connection. The joint is a ball joint.

Fin funnels are equipped with three on each side. Number markings were also included from 1 to 3 on the left and right. A funnel support that secures the funnel connection is also included.

A joint for fins and funnels is also included, and it is possible to display it in the injection state. After attaching the base to the backpack, connect the support to the fin funnel. Both ends are ball jointed. The fin funnels can be attached in various ways, such as left-right symmetry, or 6 on one side like the original ν Gundam. However, there is no saber rack for the backpack, so a complete reproduction is impossible. The size was almost the same as the mass-produced model.

Movability and Articulation

As mentioned above, the movement is generally good, and the shoulders are quite flexible. However, it was slightly unsatisfactory because it moved only slightly back and forth, probably to prevent it from warping due to the weight of the fin funnel.

Normally RoDa ν Gundam has a pink effect that expresses the I-field, but this time it was only a joint.

Summary

If you look closely, the details are quite different, so it can't be used as a substitute for the normal ν Gundam, but the proportions are good, the details are precise, and the double fin funnel equipped three-dimensional object is rare and fresh, so this is enough. It was good looking.

Only the swing of the waist was not good enough for the movement, but the rest was good overall, and the fin funnel gimmick was elaborate and the range of play was wide. Rather than putting out a normal ν Gundam and then putting out this one, it's better to put out this one and then put out a normal ν Gundam together.
