AQM/E-X02 Sword Striker

The Sword Striker is an equipment pack designed for close-range combat in the Gundam SEED series. It includes various weapons and features to enhance melee capabilities.

The pack features a large anti-ship sword called the "Schwert Gewehr," a rocket anchor known as the "Panzer Eisen," and a beam boomerang named the "Midas Messer." These weapons provide powerful offensive options for the mobile suit. The Sword Striker's backpack contains additional components such as an auxiliary battery, a close combat support information control system, and a thermal accumulator.

In the Archangel, the Sword Striker is used as a prototype model, and it has a slight variation. The hilt laser gun of the Schwert Gewehr is replaced by a beam blade emitter, which means it functions differently. This configuration is typically assigned to the Archangel's Skygrasper No. 2, piloted by characters like Cagalli Yula Athha or Tolle Koenig. The Sword Striker's design allows it to be utilized underwater, and it has the advantage of low energy consumption, granting it extended combat endurance.

Additionally, in the Phantom Pain's Report photonovel, a new version called the Another Trial Sword Striker is introduced. This variant is used by the Strike E mobile suit and features some modifications. It removes the additional shoulder armor and mounts the Midas Messer on a modified Panzer Eisen, doubling their number. The VPS armor of the Strike E is also changed to blue, giving it a distinct appearance.

These variations and enhancements to the Sword Striker provide versatility and increased combat capabilities for the respective mobile suits in the Gundam SEED series.

The Sword Striker pack, designed for the Strike Gundam, is now available as an accessory set that includes a wide range of effect parts. This set can be attached to the separately sold Strike Gundam model kit.

The "Schwert Gewehr" anti-ship sword can be mounted on the back backpack of the Strike Gundam. The battery unit is also detachable, adding to the versatility of the kit.

With the Sword Striker pack, you can create dynamic poses using both hands. The beam boomerang, Midas Messer, located on the left shoulder, can be pulled out using the left hand, just like in the series. An effect part is also included to replicate the throwing state of the Midas Messer. Additionally, the tip anchor of the Rocket Anchor Panzer Eisen is detachable, allowing you to recreate scenes where the claw is deployed.

The Sword Striker pack comes with various units that can be attached to a dedicated display stand, providing you with a variety of display options and allowing you to showcase the Strike Gundam with the Sword Striker in action.
