HG 1/144 GFAS-X1 Destroy Gundam, Bandai

HG 1/144 GFAS-X1 Destroy Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny is now available as assembly plastic model kit Gunpla High Grade Cosmic Era Bandai.

GFAS-X1 Destroy Gundam

GFAS-X1 Destroy Gundam (GFAS-X1 デストロイガンダム) is a transformable heavy assault mobile suit introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. The GFAS-X1 Destroy Gundam, designed for massive destruction, is three times the size of an average MS. It effortlessly annihilates enemy mobile suits, capable of crushing them underfoot. Armed for city-scale devastation or taking out numerous mobile suits, its "GFAS-X" designation stands for "Gressorial Fortress Armament Strategic - EXperimental."

Despite its immense size, it requires a single pilot, unlike its predecessor YMAG-X7F Gells-Ghe. The pilot must be a Biological CPU or possess similar enhancements. As a transformable mobile suit, it launches in MA mode, hovering at low altitudes, and transforms into MS mode for combat with a simple 180-degree rotation of its lower half and repositioning of its arms and backpack.

Behold the imposing GFAS-X1 Destroy Gundam, now brought to life in stunning detail in the Bandai Gunpla HG 1/144 series. This massive variable Mobile Suit stands tall at an impressive height of approximately 390 mm and boasts the ability to transform into its formidable MA form, adding to its versatility.

The meticulous attention to detail in the large-scale design is a standout feature, showcasing the unique mold expression characteristic of this imposing Gundam. Throughout the main body, joint mechanisms have been strategically placed, enabling dynamic and expressive posing possibilities.

To ensure stability in both MS and MA forms, locking mechanisms have been integrated into various parts, including the head, arms, legs, and back. The five fingers are intricately movable at each joint, allowing for a wide range of expressive gestures. Assembling the model is made convenient with individually attachable index fingers to little fingers, all included on the runner.

Adding to the visual spectacle is the inclusion of a substantial beam effect, measuring an impressive total length of approximately 260 mm. Utilizing polarized molding, the color tone dynamically changes based on the angle of the light source, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal.

For added display options, the arms are designed to connect seamlessly to an action base (sold separately), allowing enthusiasts to elevate the presentation of their GFAS-X1 Destroy Gundam. This HG kit stands as a testament to precision engineering, providing both collectors and Gundam enthusiasts an extraordinary addition to their Gunpla collection.
