Recycling some empty cosmetic containers into Gundam plastic models

Bandai has initiated a program to collect used empty cosmetic containers and repurpose them as raw materials for Gundam plastic models. The targeted items for collection are eyeliner and mascara containers from D-Nee Cosmetic's cosmetic series 3650. These containers are primarily made of iron, and Gundam plastic models that maintain a similar weight are slated for release. Additionally, a prototype of Figure-rise Mechanics Haro, crafted from recycled materials, will be unveiled for the first time at HYPER PLAMO Fes.2024.

Approximately 190 collection points will be set up nationwide, including NAMCO and other Bandai Namco amusement stores, as well as cosmetics and miscellaneous goods departments at 3,650 stores. The objective is to establish a recycling loop through new collection points, encompassing cosmetics and miscellaneous goods departments.
