From the prequel story “PROLOGUE” of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, the HG 1/144 Gundam Lfrith Pre-Production Model is now available. This 1/144 scale kit faithfully recreates the mobile suit with newly designed exterior parts and weapon components, while maintaining the easy assembly and accessibility expected from the HG series.

Based on the HG Gundam Lfrith, this version features newly molded parts for the head unit and backpack, giving it the distinctive appearance seen in PROLOGUE. The shell units across the body use a clear black material, with detailed surface molding and foil stickers included to recreate the illuminated effect. The chest color separation is also reproduced through molded plastic parts, providing a clean finish straight from the box.

The kit offers a wide range of articulation, allowing builders to create dynamic action poses while balancing flexibility and ease of construction. The large launcher mounted on the backpack features internal color separation through molded parts, and its outer armor can slide open to reveal and remove the stored Gund-Bits inside.

The launcher contains 20 Gund-Bits in flight mode and 6 Gund-Bits in deployed explosion-effect mode. By using the separately sold The Witch from Mercury Weapon Display Base, builders can recreate dramatic launch and attack scenes with the Gund-Bits displayed in mid-air.
