Bandai Gunpla FW GUNDAM CONVERGE #24 Review
STTS-909 Rising Freedom Gundam
The Rising Freedom Gundam figure exhibits high reproducibility with detailed wings, although the color omission of the beam rifle is noticeable. Despite some bleeding upon close inspection, the overall paint quality is commendable.
STTS-808 Immortal Justice Gundam
The Immortal Justice Gundam impresses with sharp sculpting and mostly reproduced colors, although the rifle stands out. Fixed to a pedestal with clear auxiliary parts, it offers loose fixation compared to usual models.
X-EX01 Gundam Calibarn
Gundam Calibarn, available from Mercury, features a matte finish with a predominantly white color scheme. Notable for its clear parts on the forehead and antenna, it promises a future release of a shell unit light-emitting version.
RGZ-91 Re-GZ
The Re-GZ model, reminiscent of Re-GZ from the old series, introduces relatively simple details with faithfully reproduced aircraft colors.
MS-06V Zaku Tank
Including the flow of #23's Magella Attack, Zakutank showcases meticulous attention to color and movable parts, providing a refreshing sand-colored aesthetic.
Assortment of Boxes
The SEED Freedom's signature Gundams are among the notable inclusions, alongside Mercury's Calibarn and Re-GZ. Despite minor imperfections, the models boast precise molding and satisfactory paint quality.
Summary
While there were minor flaws, such as the color inconsistency of SEED's rifles and the position of gate marks on Re-GZ's antenna, overall satisfaction with the FW GUNDAM CONVERGE #24 collection remains high. Anticipation for future releases, including Mighty Strike Freedom and Black Knight Squad Carla, remains robust, ensuring continued interest in the series.
