The MG 1/100 Ex Impulse Type E, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @zamashi726, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

This model, based on the Ex-Impulse, was created using only the MG Epyon, plastic sheet, and putty to craft a Gundam Epyon that fits seamlessly into the SEED universe. The overall design leverages the strengths of the original kit while aiming to give it the distinctive look of a SEED unit.

Given that the Epyon kit has minimal detail and a smaller scale, which can seem out of place when combined with others, additional details were added and the armor was extended. The color recipe remained true to the original, with no mixing involved. If interested, feel free to refer to it.

The builder was particularly impressed with the metallic Panzer Red used this time. Despite having a gray primer base, the color development was stunning. Since this paint is rarely used, it has become one of their favorites for achieving vibrant red tones.
