BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division is commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Nikko Toshogu shrines and temples being registered as a World Heritage Site by releasing a new Gundam model MG 1/100 Musha Gundam Mk-II Tokugawa Ieyasu Nanban Torso Gusoku Ver. will be dedicated to Nikko Toshogu Shrine and released in May 2024.

How The Initiative Came About

Nikko Toshogu Shrine, run by Shin, is located in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, a city familiar with plastic models, with hands-on assembly classes held as part of problem-solving learning in Gunpla construction. will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Nikko Toshogu being registered as a World Heritage Site, BANDAI SPIRITS has decided to produce and dedicate a Gunpla model associated with Nikko Toshogu in order to contribute to Nikko City's "regional revitalization using plastic models."
