Recently, the MG RX-9 Narrative Gundam C-Packs Ver.Ka was released. Following that, the MG Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.) Ver.Ka has also been launched, priced at 8,800 yen. This kit includes a beam rifle, bazooka, shield, two beam axes, grenade launcher, gun hand, two sabers, stand joint, shield connection joint, high beam rifle parts, and a complete set of beam effects. The kit also comes with foil stickers and water decals for sensors and red lines on the leg thrusters.

Kit Features and Accessories

The MG Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.) Ver.Ka kit includes several detailed accessories that enhance its functionality and aesthetic. The beam rifle retains the same design as Sinanju’s and allows for the attachment of grenades, while the bazooka features a telescopic mechanism. The shield is enhanced with molding colors to recreate the engravings, and includes joints for attaching beam axes.

The kit also comes with new grips for the beam axes, with the beam effects borrowed from MG Sinanju. The grenade launcher can be attached to the rifle, making it a formidable weapon. Additionally, the kit utilizes Emotion Manipulators for the hands, and the joints are constructed from KPS, ensuring durability and stability.

Design and Build

The MG Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.) Ver.Ka features a distinctive, angular armor design different from the Sinanju. The face is Gundam-style with twin eyes instead of a mono-eye. The body is large and shares components with MG Sinanju. The joints are made of KPS without polycaps, and the wrist parts use ABS.

Color Separation

The engravings are separated into different parts, enhancing the reproduction of the settings. Foil stickers are used for color separation around the flexible thrusters on the legs.

Engravings and New Parts

The kit includes newly designed parts, especially around the chest and forearms, enhancing the overall completeness. The engravings are three-dimensional, and the forearm covers can be opened to store saber grips.

Movement and Flexibility

The model has a highly articulated structure with a cockpit that can open and a propellant tank on the back. The flexible thrusters and thruster covers on the calves can be deployed, providing a high degree of freedom in posing.

Comparison and Performance

When compared to the MG Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.), the Ver.Ka version stands out due to the color-separated engravings, which significantly enhance its appearance.

The weapon system of the MG Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.) Ver.Ka maintains the design of Sinanju’s weapons, including the beam rifle and bazooka. The beam rifle allows for the attachment of a grenade launcher, and the shield can hold beam axes and grenades. This kit provides excellent stability and poseability, with joints and manipulators designed to hold weapons securely. The shield attaches via a joint that allows rotation, and the bazooka can be connected to the rifle, creating a larger and more impressive weapon system.

Summary

The MG Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.) Ver.Ka is an improved version of the previously released Narrative Ver., with new parts and better color separation for engravings. The addition of the beam axes and various effect parts increases the play value of the kit. Despite a slight price increase of 550 yen, the enhancements make this version a recommended purchase.
