The HG 1/144 Gundvölva: Holster Bit Test Type, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @aaliyah, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

The builder had long left a theatrical version of the Savanna in the junk box, but decided to borrow the holster bits and rifle to attach them to the Gun Volva.

The designer of both, Takayuki Yanase, made the parts blend together quite well.

They mentioned that using bits as weapons with bit MS makes it seem like no matter how much permate score you have, it would be difficult to control.

The sensor-like part on the forehead was taken from the crotch of the Fenice Rinashita (HG Wing).

At first, during the process of making a shooting pose, they thought they extended the waist too much, but in the end, it worked out well as the added parts were more visible.

The Gun Volva's shield is incredibly cool, but since it looks cluttered when fully equipped, the builder usually leaves it off.

The internal slide mechanism of the rifle was painted in the same metallic color as the frame. They also described the nerve-wracking process of cutting and fitting 14-year-old clear parts.

The builder thought they should've chosen a slightly brighter color for the metallic blue sensor to better convey the idea of controlling the bits. Miraculously, the thruster nozzle and added parts at the back don’t overlap.

As for the modifications, here’s the list:

Head: Added 1mm of plastic sheet to the ball joint receiving side, effectively extending the neck.
Legs: Extended by 1mm with plastic sheet.
Back bits: Cut and attached a piece from some other kit's upper arm (giving the bits a great "battle-worn junk" feel).
Back thrusters: Flipped them and attached 3mm axle parts from some other kit.
Waist: Extended by 2mm with plastic sheet and putty.
Rear: Cut parts from the Savanna, filled with putty, added plastic sheet, and brass wire for attachment.
White parts: To avoid the "stuck-on" feel, the builder took parts from the Barzelald (a subtle Yanase touch).
