From "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM", the MS Unit ZGMF-56E2/β Sword Impulse Gundam Spec II is now available in a 1/144 scale kit.

The ZGMF-56E2/β Sword Impulse Gundam SPEC II, from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM, is now available as a 1/144 scale model kit. This release is based on the RG 1/144 Force Impulse Gundam SPEC II, featuring a striking red color scheme. Secretly upgraded by Erica Simmons at Cagalli Yula Athha’s request, this enhanced version of the ZGMF-X56S/β Sword Impulse Gundam boasts increased battery capacity and a redesigned Variable Phase Shift Armor, replacing much of the white with red, including on the v-fin. The chest and shoulders now feature black highlights while retaining all of the original’s combat capabilities.

Modified at a covert Orb Union asteroid base, this suit was part of a backup plan to support Compass' forces during emergencies. It became crucial when the crew of the LHM-BB03S Millennium required reinforcements after suffering losses in the Eldore incident. Lunamaria Hawke piloted the Sword Impulse SPEC II in a mission to protect the Millennium while clearing a path toward the Requiem superweapon. During an intense battle against Agnes Giebenrath’s GYAN Strom, Lunamaria exhausted her melee weapons before switching to the Force Silhouette, recharging via the Destiny’s Deuterion Beam Energy Transfer System to continue the fight.
