The HG 1/144 Gundam Fenice Rinascita: Wing Gundam TV Ver. Color, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @pon_pon_pina, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

After a long break from posting, this customized Fenice Rinascita is finally complete! The builder made small modifications throughout the kit and repainted it in the classic TV version Wing Gundam color scheme. The result? A sleek and stylish finish that perfectly captures the essence of the original design.

As someone who grew up with Wing Gundam, this color scheme just feels right.

Once again, fluorescent paint was used in several areas, allowing UV light to make certain parts glow. The white sections of the wings were reinterpreted as sensors, designed to emit light—because that just looks cooler!

There’s no denying it—Wing Gundam looks absolutely stunning with its wings spread wide.

Unique Features & Modifications

The Beam Mantle naturally reacts to UV light, emitting a slight purple glow even without paint. To enhance this effect, the tips were sprayed with fluorescent pink, creating a beautiful gradient.
The Buster Rifle was carefully color-separated, with its lower section painted yellow as a tribute to the TV version.
The Buster Rifle can also split into a Handgun and a Beam Saber, which adds another layer of coolness to the build.
When holding two sabers, it naturally encourages dynamic posing!

Structural Improvements & Refinements

Sharpened edges across the entire kit.
Extended the heels, thighs, waist, and upper arms for a more refined look.
Added panel lines and filled in details on the thighs and upper arms.
Shortened the side "ears" on the head unit.
Omitted Bird Mode transformation, removing connection pins for a cleaner silhouette.
