The HG 1/144 Amazing Duel Gundam, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @mabo_ma_mabo, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

Amazing Duel Gundam — Completed!

Built with the concept of "a machine Yuuki Tatsuya developed to surpass Sei Iori's ever-evolving Build Strike," this model integrates elements of the "G" units stolen by ZAFT. Based on the Duel Blitz, the Assault Shroud was customized to bring all these features together. The Duel base was chosen because it fits the theme of rivalry with Strike.

Originally planned to be red, the final design features only a metallic red frame, while the rest of the unit follows Tatsuya's usual blue tones. The silhouette was altered through part mixing to look like a Gundam that would naturally belong in the Build Fighters world.

The Gundam is fully equipped with various weapons: two beam rifles, "Azrael" for long-range sniping and "Amaterasu" for mid-to-close-range suppression, both based on the Duel's original beam rifle, but with modified barrels. These can be mounted on the backpack arms or side armor using neodymium magnets.

The main backpack, "Amazing Weapon Binder D," carries a beam cannon inspired by Buster Gundam, an anti-air shotgun, and can store Armor Schneider and a short beam rifle. The short beam rifle was made from Kyoukai Senki parts, allowing for dual-wielding like the Blue Duel.

Shoulder units feature simple transformable arms with "Vieselnagel" beam sabers, allowing a four-saber fighting style, inspired by the Aegis Gundam’s MA form. On the left shoulder, the "Amazing Rev T" unit adds a beam rifle, lancer dart, and a deployable sword inspired by the Testament Gundam. The "T" in "Rev T" stands for both "Tatsuya" and "Trikeros."

Without the Assault Shroud, this form is called Amazing Duel Naked, retaining a simple, classic Duel look. Major modifications include lengthening the torso, thighs, and head, swapping the legs for Impulse Gundam’s, adding Strike Gundam’s ankle guards, additional detail work, and changing the fists to custom ones from Sankaku-ya.
