The HG 1/144 Red Gundam Mk-II, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @O15RXnhQL8nvfYW, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

The custom build of an HG 1/144 Gundam GQuuuuuuX, titled “Red Gundam Mk-II,” has been completed.

This model was created using parts from HG Dantalion and GQuuuuuuX, aiming to design a Gundam Mk-II-style mobile suit that fits within the world and aesthetic of the GQuuuuuuX.

The builder had always felt that the design of the red Gundam closely resembled Dantalion, so they boldly leaned into that concept. The torso comes from GQuuuuuuX, combined with limbs from Dantalion. The backpack was repurposed from the Gundam Mk-II. The head unit features Dantalion’s base with a blade antenna transplanted from an Ecopla Gundam.

Thanks to the almost full Gundam Frame construction, the model has excellent articulation. It's even capable of dynamic poses like the "Char kick" or "Kamille kick."

Within the imagined world of GQuuuuuuX, red might be the signature color of Gundams. While this Mk-II isn’t piloted by Char, the builder chose a bright red instead of Char's traditional crimson — adding a unique identity while maintaining homage.

This mobile suit is a next-generation Zeon unit, developed through reverse engineering of captured data. Cutting-edge technologies, such as a movable frame system, have been incorporated without compromise. The machine is said to be undergoing testing at Green Noa...
