This summer, the world of Gundam is coming to life in the heart of Nagoya. From Saturday, August 2 to Monday, August 25, 2025, BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division will open a special limited-time store—THE GUNDAM BASE POP-UP WORLD TOUR in NAGOYA—on the 9th floor of Nagoya PARCO’s South Building (PARCO HALL). Whether you're a lifelong fan of the Mobile Suits or discovering Gunpla for the first time, this pop-up event offers something for everyone.

A Global Celebration of Gunpla’s 45th Anniversary

The Gundam Base POP-UP in Nagoya marks the second domestic stop on the GUNDAM BASE POP-UP WORLD TOUR, following its launch in Osaka. This worldwide tour commemorates the 45th anniversary of Gunpla (Gundam plastic models), and aims to bring fans across the globe closer to the joy of Gundam and model building.

The Nagoya event is not just a store—it’s a multi-dimensional experience. It offers a unique opportunity to explore, create, and connect with others who share a passion for Gundam, no matter where they’re from or how long they’ve been a fan.

A highlight of the event is the chance to see Gundam models and statues up close, including a towering two-meter tall Gundam statue and a special display of the PERFECT GRADE UNLEASHED 1/60 ν Gundam, one of the most detailed and advanced Gunpla models ever produced.

Also featured are exclusive exhibits from the latest Gundam series, "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX," including the visually striking GQuuuuuuX and Red Gundam statues. Fans can appreciate the craftsmanship and innovation behind the franchise's newest designs.

Try Building Your Own Gunpla – No Experience Needed

For those new to Gunpla or looking to rekindle their love for model building, the Assembly Experience Zone offers a hands-on opportunity to build your very own model kit—for free. All necessary materials are provided, and staff are on hand to guide participants of all skill levels through the process. This is a great way to discover the joy of making something with your own hands.

A Special Collaboration Café

During the event period, Gundam fans can also visit the kawara CAFE & KITCHEN on the 5th floor of Nagoya PARCO’s South Building for a unique collaboration menu. The café will offer specially themed food and beverages to mark the 45th anniversary of Gunpla. More details about the collaboration menu will be announced soon.
