Hermes had been thinking about a parallel-world Gundam that was captured by the Federation. One of Amuro’s lines that he loved most was, “I’m the one who can pilot the Gundam the best!” That line lingered in his heart as he enjoyed watching GquuuuuuX.

Even with that feeling in mind, he couldn’t help but imagine that if Amuro had piloted a Gundam equipped with bits, he would have been able to control them far more skillfully. From that thought, Hermes became inspired to envision an “Amuro-exclusive Gundam for the final battle.” Furthermore, the idea of developing the Nu Gundam, equipped with six fin funnels, based on that Gundam felt truly thrilling to him.
