The FM 1/100 Cannon Calamity Gundam (Enhanced Type), masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @tb.1.389e96b4.WfAHvHnxz-I952YSWlZJyw, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

They picked up both the Launcher Calamity and the Aile Calamity. The added equipment on the Aile version looked great, but it felt a bit too much like “bricks flying with brute force.” As for the Launcher version, its main rocket launcher interfered heavily with other parts of the body—posing was difficult, and aside from tucking the weapon under the arm, most action stances just looked awkward. So, they decided to make some small modifications.

The Aile Calamity had excellent detailing, with a strong heavy bomber vibe overall. However, the combination of massive weapons and large wings felt off—how could something so heavily armed still manage atmospheric flight? The hammer and shoulder backpack also clashed with each other, making it frustrating to pose.

They suddenly realized that the Aile Calamity’s shoulder-mounted turrets paired very well with the Launcher Calamity, giving it more of a “mobile fortress” feel. Swapping the Launcher’s thruster-equipped shoulder armor onto the Aile Calamity also enhanced its sense of mobility. With that, the shoulder parts were exchanged.

Thus, the Launcher Calamity officially joined the “multi-turret cult.”

The Launcher’s original rocket launcher also caused too much interference, mainly because of its overly long rear grip, which made most shooting poses look unnatural—again, only the underarm hold worked. They decided to swap it out as well, replacing the main handheld weapon with a repainted rifle from Build Strike.

To round out its loadout, a close-combat beam axe was equipped in the right hand as an emergency melee weapon, covering its weaknesses and making the suit’s overall capabilities more balanced.

With all of this done, the build was completed and christened: Enhanced Launcher Calamity.
