The HG 1/144 Hi-ν Gundam Influx, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @Junius86017245, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

The HGBF Hi-ν Gundam Influx has been completed in a color scheme inspired by the original Hi-ν Gundam. The most significant modification focused on reshaping the front armor, which initially felt underwhelming. Drawing inspiration from the Metal Build Hi-ν, the builder redesigned the armor to give the lower body a more powerful and grounded appearance.

Additional work included standard assembly refinements, removal of parting lines, sharpening of details, replacement of verniers, and the builder’s first attempt at gradient painting. The toes were also reshaped for a more refined silhouette. Despite the challenge of working in a room without air conditioning—stretching the project to three and a half months—the builder persevered and was proud of the final result.

The overall color palette centers on Mizer Purple, complemented by a custom-mixed Blue Violet using the same base tone. Steel White was employed to achieve a cool, bluish-white hue, while additional Purple Gray shades created a sense of unity throughout the model. Although the binders appear black in photos, they were actually finished in dark gray for subtle depth.

The front skirt modification greatly enhanced the lower body’s visual weight, transforming what once looked flat into a balanced and dynamic structure. For the head, the antenna—taken from the Brave kit—was extended by one millimeter. The Vulcan guns were replaced with metal pipes, and all sensor units, including the twin eyes, were constructed using fluorescent and aurora film sealed with resin, allowing them to catch light naturally and glow under blacklight.

The torso received minimal but effective detailing, emphasizing sharpness and contrast for stronger depth. Even during the primer stage, the builder briefly considered keeping the raw look due to its appealing tones. The weapons, particularly the rifle finished in Almite Black, were among the builder’s favorite touches.

Overall, this Hi-ν Influx stands as a sophisticated, thoughtfully refined build—balancing technical craftsmanship with aesthetic restraint to capture the essence of a true Hi-ν Gundam successor.
