Gunpla Custom Build : HG 1/144 Gundam Aerial: Final Battle Ver. by @daaimasan0819

The HG 1/144 Gundam Aerial: Final Battle Ver., masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @daaimasan0819, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

This custom build envisions the Gundam Aerial as it might have appeared in a full “final boss” form — a heavily armed, ultimate version designed for a climactic showdown. Inspired by the idea of amplifying its last-battle presence, the model explores what Aerial would look like if it appeared in a full-armor configuration for its final confrontation. The completed work is currently on display at Lagrea Nakano.

The base unit is extensively modified from the Tifoneth Gundam Chimera. Before and after comparison reveals the transformation achieved through meticulous detailing and repainting. A key focus was reinterpreting the dual-dragon legs from the Kutan Twin Dragon Type, refining their surface detailing and adjusting the color separation to appear more mechanical and less creature-like. The result is a strikingly engineered and imposing redesign of Aerial—one that truly embodies the aura of a final boss.
