The HG 1/144 Kampfer [The Inheritor of Fighting Spirit], masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @zamashi726, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

GBWC 13th Entry — “The One Who Inherited the Fighting Spirit”

This work explores the concept of a successor to the Kampfer, imagining how the iconic mobile suit might evolve and be refined over time. The builder infused the design with signature Kampfer motifs recreated through extensive kitbashing, blending personal skill and passion into every detail.

The diorama depicts the moment the new Kampfer bursts through the outer wall of a space installation to begin a daring assault. Despite limited experience with diorama building, the base was constructed using just four System Base 001 kits, plastic rods, and brass wire—a simple but effective setup.

For the photoshoot, a clean white background was used to highlight the build’s silhouette and recognizable Kampfer lineage. The model features internal LED lighting for the main camera, creating an impressive glow when displayed in person.

As the builder’s first GBWC entry, this project represents their most ambitious and personally meaningful Kampfer build to date—one packed with “everything I love.”
