The HG 1/144 Black Knight Squad Cal-re.A: Dark Color, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @Gunplapiyo, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

The HG Black Knight Squad Calra was completed with a refined custom paint scheme. The primary color is Prism Blue Black, while Moonstone Pearl was used for the decorative areas, creating a subtle contrast with a dark, elegant finish. The legs and Dragoon units were assembled using post-fit techniques to remove seam lines, and several original panel lines were added to enhance surface detail.

This project also marked the first photo session using a newly introduced shooting booth. The white background proved effective in highlighting the model’s colors and silhouette. Various poses were photographed, including standard standing, a stationary firing pose with a villain-like presence, a rare SEED-style shooting pose for Calra, and a full wing deployment that pushed the limits of the booth space.

Additional photos explored different moods and included comparisons before and after painting. This visual style is planned to be continued in future works.
