The HG 1/144 Cherudim Gundam GNDw, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @shionze, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

The Cherudim Gundam GNDw is a newly completed custom build based on a dedicated upgrade plan for Lyle, reimagined as a suppressive fire–focused variant. The name GNDw is derived from “Dual Wield,” reflecting the concept that all weapons are designed for paired operation.

Despite the base kit being released many years ago, its proportions remain strong and suitable for extensive mixing. The build combines elements from the Cherudim GNHW and Saga, with Arios missile containers transplanted to enhance firepower. A Kotobukiya Stride SMG is repurposed as a GN Heavy Machine Gun, reinforcing the unit’s emphasis on sustained fire.

Although the legs appear slightly slender, the overall balance remains convincing. Additional presentation includes a Trans-Am–inspired visual treatment and a before-and-after comparison with the original kits, clearly highlighting the effectiveness of the modifications.
