Although the project could not be completed in time for the related competition, the concept grew naturally from enjoying the series and speculating about the inclusion of Zeta-era mobile suits.

Unlike a previous build that emphasized a sleek silhouette, this version focuses on how The-O might realistically be redesigned for the GQuuuuuuX setting. While some imbalance remains, the builder achieved a heavy, compact body type that matches the intended “daruma-like” proportions.

The base kit is a Dom, mixed with various parts to reshape its identity. Early in development it retained a strong Dom appearance, but the addition of the front skirt successfully shifted the design closer to The-O. Signature elements include the iconic four-sword loadout and a large beam rifle created by modifying the Dom’s bazooka.

Overall, the build presents a convincing and playful reinterpretation of The-O through kitbashing and concept-driven design.
