The HG 1/144 CCCD-F814 Gundam Morsel, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @Susarumu_2, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

Created for Valentine’s Day, this project combines chocolate chip cookies with the imagery of Setsubun’s oni motif, resulting in a playful yet cohesive custom mobile suit titled GUNDAM MORSEL. The design emphasizes texture and character rather than heavy armament.

The build is based on the Gundam Gremory, incorporating leftover Gundam Frame parts to shape a unique silhouette. To recreate the look of embedded chocolate chips, triangular and square plastic rods were added across the armor, increasing surface texture and creating a cracked, uneven finish. The concept is reinforced under the internal theme name “CRACK & BROKEN.”

A hooded form enhances the oni-inspired personality of the suit, with the option to display it folded down for a different expression.

The weapon configuration is intentionally minimal, limited to gauntlets and clawed hands to maintain a simple, character-focused profile. The gauntlets were scratch-built using spare parts from the Graze, cut and reshaped before additional raised details were applied to strengthen the “chip” texture.

Before the final top coat, the surface detailing was especially pronounced, maximizing the chocolate chip aesthetic. The restrained weapon loadout allows the textural concept and thematic styling to take center stage.

GUNDAM MORSEL succeeds as a seasonal concept build that blends humor with solid modeling technique. Through careful surface modification and restrained customization, the builder transformed Gundam Gremory into a distinctive Valentine-themed unit that balances novelty with craftsmanship.
