The HG Gundam Barbatos Lupus Armored custom has been completed using only kits from Iron-Blooded Orphans. While many builders are currently working on the MG Lupus, this project rides the same wave in HG form—proving scale does not limit impact.

Incorporating the volume of Gundam Zagan, the build balances added mass with Barbatos’ signature sharpness. Special attention was given to vertical lines in the silhouette to avoid losing the Lupus’ aggressive, forward-leaning identity. The result is a heavier frame that still feels fast and predatory.

The rear view stands out, with a tightened waistline and elongated rear armor creating a dynamic, flowing profile that enhances the suit’s mechanical elegance.

Modifications

The customization focuses on straightforward but effective structural changes:

Waist extended by 3 mm
Cylinder parts replaced and additional power pipes installed
Vent hole detailing added to arms and shoulder armor
Hand joint axis modified for improved weapon handling

Signature “punched hole” detailing has been heavily applied, reinforcing the armored aesthetic and increasing surface information across the frame.
