The builder completed a customized HGUC Sinanju Stein and expressed surprise at how such an impressive design is often undervalued.

To refine the color scheme, a subtle blue tone was introduced by mixing a blue-gray shade. The frame was painted over a gloss black base with metallic brown, while the outer armor used a contrasting finish—gloss over a matte frame—resulting in a balanced and visually satisfying look. This combination became the most fitting finishing method for the project.

Recreating the package art pose proved challenging, mainly due to limited neck articulation, making it difficult to achieve the exact angle. Additional verniers were added, including modifications to the shoulder armor, enhancing the mechanical detail and overall presence. The builder noted that even simple poses, such as aiming the rifle, brought out the kit’s appeal.

Some imperfections became noticeable up close, including uneven partial paintwork and slight decal lifting. The builder used a diluted mark setter with water-based paints but questioned its effectiveness and compatibility, seeking better approaches for decal adhesion.

The project reflects one year of progress in Gunpla building, with gradual improvements in detailing techniques and a growing understanding of finishing methods. Each build provides both satisfaction and new challenges, reinforcing the appeal of continuous learning within the hobby.
