Long is the newest character to join the PUNI☆MOFU series, bringing a fresh yet cohesive addition alongside Mao and Tu. She shares the same petite body type, but stands out with her signature weapons, which feature a striking twin dragon head design that leaves a strong visual impact.

The character design is once again handled by the illustrator BLADE, ensuring stylistic continuity with previous entries. Long is built using the Machineca Block2-S body, a smaller version of the Machineca Block2-M designed by Masaki Apsy. This scaled-down body successfully captures and enhances the charm and cuteness present in the original concept art.

In terms of design concept, Long is inspired by a dragon theme, which is reflected in both her appearance and weaponry. Her main weapons, the “Twin Dragon Fangs,” are equipped with multiple connection joints, allowing for a wide range of dynamic action poses. Additionally, her newly designed skirt and wristbands create a distinctive silhouette, setting her apart from earlier PUNI☆MOFU models.

The model kit includes three interchangeable face parts, along with stickers for leg markings and additional colored elements. These components allow for further customization and detail, giving users the flexibility to personalize the final look.

One of the key features of this model is its versatility. Builders can mix and match different parts to create various silhouettes, ranging from the clean, minimal “Unarmed Mode” to the fully equipped “Armed Mode.” The parts can be configured to display the model either in full armor or without it, depending on the desired presentation.

The Machineca base body provides an impressive range of articulation, enabling natural and expressive poses such as holding weapons or sitting. The kit also includes a variety of weapons and joint parts, making it possible to recreate diverse combat scenes and action displays.

To support display, a special base is included. Furthermore, the 3mm connection points and head compatibility features allow the model to be customized with parts from other series, including M.S.G, Frame Arms, Frame Arms Girl, Hexa Gear, Sousai Shojo Teien, Arcanadea, and Megalomaria, greatly expanding creative possibilities.

Megami Device Plastic Model

“Megami Device” is a plastic model kit series by Kotobukiya, featuring 14 cm (approximately 5.5-inch) character models designed for both display and customization. Each kit comes with a variety of weapons and equipment, allowing builders to create their own unique character setups, often imagined for use in stylized robot battles.

At the core of every character is a base body system known as “machineca,” designed by Masaki Apsy. This standardized inner frame provides a high level of articulation and poseability. On top of this base, each model features distinct armor and mechanical designs created in collaboration with various guest illustrators, giving every character a unique aesthetic and personality.

The kits are designed to be user-friendly, even for beginners. They include multi-colored parts that reduce the need for painting, along with pre-printed face parts using tampography for detailed expressions straight out of the box. This allows builders to achieve a polished look without advanced modeling skills.

Another key feature of the Megami Device series is its customization potential. The models use 3mm connection joints, a common standard across many Kotobukiya kits. This makes them compatible not only with weapons and parts from other Megami Device kits, but also with components from other Kotobukiya model lines, greatly expanding the possibilities for mixing, matching, and creative builds.
