The RG 1/144 Zeong, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @Tetu21, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

This project upgrades the Zeong with extensive detail enhancements and custom effects.

The build features added surface detail through carved-out sections filled with mesh, along with plastic plates and rods used to increase mechanical complexity. These modifications give the model a more industrial and layered appearance while staying true to the original design.

For presentation, the Zeong was photographed alongside the RX-78-2 Gundam (Origin version), recreating a composition reminiscent of the anime’s final battle. Fluorescent paint was applied to the mono-eye and verniers, allowing them to glow under blacklight.

Effect parts were also repainted with gradient finishes, transitioning from white at the base to orange and red toward the tips. These effects enhance the sense of propulsion and energy, especially when illuminated.

The wired arm gimmick was upgraded using stainless mesh cables with internal wire reinforcement, improving both durability and posing flexibility. Additional detail painting includes heat-discoloration effects on the verniers, with subtle blue tones to simulate burn marks.

Overall, this build combines mechanical detailing, lighting effects, and dynamic posing to create a highly expressive version of the Zeong, emphasizing both realism and dramatic presentation.
