The Gundam Vidar Rubelade is a stylish custom based on the Gundam Vidar MG kit. The name “Rubelade” combines Rubellite, the pink gemstone tourmaline, with Blade, reflecting both the color theme and the weapon-focused concept of the build.

The customization itself remains relatively restrained, focusing mainly on recoloring and weapon changes rather than major structural reconstruction. This approach allows the original elegance and sharp proportions of the Vidar to remain intact while giving the machine a completely different atmosphere.

The primary weapon setup uses the M.S.G Exenis Wing configured as oversized swords mounted at the waist. These blades can be connected together into a larger combined weapon, reinforcing the unit’s close-combat identity. To balance the vivid body colors, the backpack and weapons were finished in darker black tones, helping the overall composition feel more cohesive and grounded.

One of the standout features of the project is the custom shoulder mantle. Created from textured PVC sheet material, the cloak introduces a dramatic knight-like silhouette to the mobile suit.
