The Kämpfer Schwer Type D (Dolcira) has been completed as a heavily upgraded interpretation of the original Kämpfer Schwer design. The build focuses on emphasizing the machine’s already massive silhouette by enlarging key sections and creating a specialized heavy artillery unit centered around long-barrel twin cannons.

The main design goal was to increase the sense of weight and power without making the mobile suit feel overly cluttered. The builder carefully maintained an A-shaped silhouette, balancing the large body, reinforced armor, and oversized backpack. Finding the right combination of parts was a major challenge, especially when integrating the large-scale equipment.

A key breakthrough came from using the GN Arms as the backpack foundation. Combined with parts from the Sazabi Ver.Ka, the final silhouette became much closer to the intended heavy assault concept.

The build process itself was extremely demanding. Many of the selected parts were damaged or previously modified, requiring extensive surface preparation. Even the Sazabi components came from painted junk parts, meaning additional stripping and cleanup were necessary before reconstruction.

To achieve the desired heavy and armored appearance, the builder used a black-base painting technique. This approach strengthens the shadows and depth of the armor while enhancing the feeling of a massive combat machine.
