The MG 1/100 Ultimate Freedom Gundam Custom, masterfully customized by the Gunpla builder @KK_GLAF, stands as an exemplary model of unique modification and intricate detailing.

After nearly four years of development, this custom ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam has finally reached completion. Built from the MG Freedom Gundam Ver.2.0 as its foundation, the project represents a meticulous effort to create the builder’s ideal interpretation of the iconic mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.

Rather than strictly following any single kit or design reference, the build combines elements from the MG Freedom Gundam Ver.1.0, Ver.2.0, and the Eclipse Gundam. The goal was to strike a balance between the anime-accurate proportions of Ver.1.0 and the modernized styling of Ver.2.0, creating a version that feels both faithful and refined.

One of the most impressive engineering features is the internal weight-balancing system. Because Freedom’s large wings typically make stable standing poses difficult, lead weights were installed inside the legs, allowing the model to stand independently with its wings fully deployed without requiring a display stand.
