From "After War Gundam X," the GX-9901 Gundam Double X joins the METAL ROBOT魂 lineup, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the series.
Based on the 2013 ROBOT魂 Gundam Double X, this new version pursues greater mechanical realism through the use of die-cast parts, plating, polarized film, pearl paint, and metallic paint. The reflectors, energy radiators, and Satellite Cannons can all be deployed without replacing parts.
The inside of the reflectors uses special polarized film, creating a glossy gold appearance with colors that change depending on the viewing angle. The Satellite Cannon barrels feature an extension mechanism, while the reflectors can be moved independently to create dynamic firing poses.
The energy radiator blades on the arms and legs feature plated finishes for a metallic appearance. The white armor is finished with semi-gloss pearl paint, while metallic gray details add greater visual density to the design.
The Gundam Double X comes equipped with its dedicated DX Buster Rifle and Defense Plate. Two Hyper Beam Sword effect parts are included, allowing the iconic dual-wielding sword pose from Episode 24 of "After War Gundam X" to be recreated.
