This box-art from Motor Nuclear MN-Q03 1/72 Blue Dragon Gundam (Ao Bing Di Hui Xing Han Long Zi) is based on blue color, featuring this Blue Dragon MS Unit. When opened there is a next box-art displaying along with the pilot. 4-layer blister packaging full of inside. It takes about 1 hour to assemble all parts.

Head Unit

The head mobility is basically the same as the previous work. The head sculpt is based on the white dragon and modified the headwear parts. Blue Dragon shares a common problem with the previous two products. The brightness of the headlights is too poor, and it is basically impossible to let the light through the eyes.

Body Unit

The whole body and the previous two products are from the same frame, so there is not much change in body shape. It may be because of the blue color and the smaller shoulders.

You will feel that the blue dragon is thinner than the previous two. Although there are parts from the previous two models, the new parts account for more than 60%, and it is basically difficult to find places close to the previous ones. In addition, this time it is mainly painted in metallic colors, which is very different from the previous matte and adolescent dragons.

Backpack

The backpack part is made with new regulations. After all the decorative parts of the backpack were removed, 5 jacks were added. The left and right sides are mainly used for installing dragon whip weapons, and the middle hole is used for installing big swords.

Joins

The horizontal lift exceeds 90 degrees, the upper arm has horizontal horizontal rotation joints, and the fingers are fully movable, which is the same as the previous two products. In addition, there are two sets of fixed-shaped hands attached, but this product is basically not useful and can be ignored. By replacing parts, installing the dragon head on one shoulder is one of my favorite ways to display this work. Starting with two sets can allow both shoulders to be installed, but installing two will become cumbersome.

Accessories

Illuminating the orange part with a purple light will have a fluorescent effect. Although the instructions say that the green transparent parts on the body also have fluorescence, the effect is not as obvious as orange after irradiation.

By replacing the parts, the big sword can be mounted on the backpack. If you want to mount it diagonally, you must remove the decorative parts on the left and right sides of the backpack.

As the core of this product, this blue dragon has a total length of 110cm. Each section of the body is connected by ball joints, which can move independently, and there are movable spaces in these multiple directions.

Painting

The painting and details of the entire upper body are much richer than the previous two products, not only the color separation, but also the increase of the rich information of the pad printing mark, and the overall texture is also improved. Metallic blue is divided into three shades, and the texture of metallic blue is excellent, and it does not have a particularly greasy feeling. The white uses a matte color to make the overall layering feel very good.
