REVIEW DABAN 6619s MG 1/100 Nu Gundam Ver. Ka Titanium Finish, Daban Model
MG 1/100 Nu Gundam ver. Ka was re-released by the bootleg manufacturer Daban with code 6619s with the addition of Titanium Finish.
RX-93 ν Gundam
RX-93 ν Gundam (aka Nu Gundam, Nu) is a mobile suit that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. It was designed and piloted by Amuro Ray.
The ν Gundam is one of the most advanced mobile suits during the Second Neo Zeon War in U.C. 0093, together with Char Aznable's MSN-04 Sazabi, it is used by Amuro Ray who also came up with its basic design. It was manufactured at Anaheim Electronics' Von Braun plant and completed in a short period of time (about three months) under the supervision of chief engineer October Saran.
Its design is based on the average specification values of each successive generations of Gundam-type units from the original RX-78-2 Gundam to the MSZ-010 ΖΖ Gundam, and updated with state-of-the-art technologies introduced at the time. Various test data collected from the ARX-014P Silver Bullet (Funnel Test Type), the YRA-90A μ Gundam and the RX-9 Narrative Gundam were also used in its development.

Titanium Finish
The armor's gleaming titanium finish makes it look very luxurious without the need for refinishing. However, it is very unfortunate that the inner-frame still uses the old gray color which doesn't get any finishing, even though I really hope for metallic paint on the inner-frame like the others. Color separation the armor is also not very visible, or it is not given a clear enough color separation on the armor, which is quite a shame.
For the red, gold, and black runners the titanium feels good and very smooth, but it's different with the white titanium finish which seems a bit thick. And there is also uneven painting in some parts and also miss painting.

Snapfit
The quality of snapfit and daban assembly is well known to many people. It is quite hard in the installation process and there will also be some incompatibilities between one part and another, so it requires a little treatment to install properly. For example sanding the male Peg or widening the female Peg parts. And also sometimes it takes skill to make additional parts that are defective.
And as additional information, because all parts of the Daban 6619s are a copy of the MG 1/100 V Gundam version of Bandai, it is certain that the fingers are the same, namely the type of mechanical hand.
Runner DABAN 6619s
Well, for a bootleg model, in my opinion MG Nu Gundam ver. Ka Daban 6619s is quite worth owning and collecting. With a form which is a copy of the MG Nu Gundam ver. Ka Bandai and the addition of Fin Funnel Effect and Titanium Finish make it look cooler than the Bandai version. It's just that, minus the defect part and also the defect painting in white, this thickness is quite uncomfortable, not to mention the quality of the snapfit which we know really really disturbs the build process. Yes, all of that goes back to my friends who want to try it or prefer to buy the original Bandai. And for me, I can give this Daban 6619s a 7 for a model kit.
