Metalbuild DH-05 Evil Tiger King, the model hunter has already released its third product. This time it brings players a classic animation body with evil tiger as the prototype for a magical modification.

Devil Hunter Metalbuild DH-05 Evil Tiger King Review

The biggest change in this product is that it finally set aside the base Iron-Blooded Orphans to produce DH-05 Evil Tiger King. Two previous products have been produced based on Gundam Barbatos and Gundam Vidar, which has caused many builders to experience temporary visual fatigue. With a little freshness, coupled with a classic theme, I'm sure there are still many builders who are enthusiastic about Devil Hunter. Let's review the quality of the product.

Design

As previously mentioned, the biggest change this time is of course the new design. The form of the skeleton that had been used was abandoned, and eventually it no longer used the basic structure of the Iron-blooded Orphans Gundam. The general ratio is 1:72 currently on the market, although the Devil Hunter does not mention it directly.

DH-05 Evil Tiger King as a whole is basically very good. However, some parts of the design are still lacking, such as the tail, tiger head and several other parts that are still poorly designed. The biggest regret is that the product itself doesn't come with a built-in standbase, unlike other bootleg products which include a customizable standbase.

Snapfit

As far as joint structure is concerned, DH-05 is of sufficient quality. Basically there are a lot of normal structures that can be moved and moved. Of course there is no problem dealing with day-to-day games yes, and since there are not too many complex structures, replacing and installing the components as a whole is very convenient and easy.

In addition, the main load-bearing joints are made of popular metals, which make the overall joint very sturdy and stable. Even such a large body and large arms can have very stable retention, so that everyone can play quietly.

Some of the armor materials are soft and flexible enough that nothing is at risk of breaking easily. Has 2 parts of the chest, one of which is a black tiger. The wing backpack can be transformed into 2 shapes. The wings also have hinges on the backpack and the wings.

The backpack has a peg connection to the back which is quite small, but quite sturdy when attached. The Evil Tiger King's arm had a pretty good hinge and could do a lot of movement. In addition to the folding joint, the elbow also has a 360 degree swivel joint.

Finishing

The overall coating is mainly based on high gloss color matching. The overall reflectance is relatively high, and looks very textured under light. The overall paint surface is also very good. Take a current sample. See, there are basically no obvious flaws.

The paint details and color separation are just right. I've never seen common painting problems like overflow, orange peel, and uneven paint. As a bootleg model, the DH-05 Evil Tiger King is quite attractive and of high quality. The black color has quite a bit of metallic finish, but it is still visible, and in my opinion it is quite disturbing and bear. The yellow color only has bright yellow which doesn't add any finishing effect.

Summary

Overall, the performance of this Devil Hunter set with DH-05 code is quite satisfactory as far as current samples are concerned, and the comprehensive quality in all aspects deserves recognition. Although there are still some flaws and design errors, however, the product itself has an indescribable appeal. I hope Devil Hunter can ensure that the mass production quality is the same as this sample.
